Programme ATLANTIS - Summer school

ATLANTIS : programme d'excellence scientifique et de mobilité transatlantique

Ce programme de mobilité à l’international qui démarre cette année pour 4 ans concerne tous les étudiants inscrits au Master IRIV dont la formation s’oriente vers l’Imagerie et la Robotique Médicale. Sélectionnés sur l’excellence de leur dossier scientifique, les étudiants retenus bénéficieront d’une bourse de mobilité (12k€/an) pour un séjour de 12 mois au sein des Universités de Floride ou de Houston en M2. Ils obtiendront à l'issue le double diplôme (dual degree) français et américain.

Admission criteria

To be eligible to apply for the ATLANTIS CRISP dual degree program, students must satisfy to both of the following conditions :

1. Be the holder of a Bachelor's degree (a minimum of three years' study at a university and corresponding to the equivalent of 180 ECTS) in the fields of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemestry, Basic Biology and/or Physiology, BioEngineering when applying.
2. Be admitted in the first year of a MSc and submit an applicant form (downloaded on the web site of the ATLANTIS CRISP dua degree program) before December 1st. The applicant form will contain: a motivation letter (2 pages), a curriculum vitae (1 page), the academic results obtained in the last three years.
3. Mastering English at a level equivalent to 533 TOEFL (TOEIC > 700)
4. Program participants will be subject to the standard rules, regulations, and enrollment constraints of the host university in the selection of courses.
5. The students of the Atlantis dual degree will have to satisfy the admission criteria for the master with thesis of the host University. These criteria are posted on the web sites of each participating Universities in this program :

To improve the transparency of the application process, the web site of the Atlantis dual degree Crips will have clear links to the local admission criteria of each host University.

Evaluation criteria for candidates :

The selection procedure is transparent and it is a shared responsibility of the CRISP MSc Committee to rate the applications. Each application form is rated by following a common grid given below.  Selection of the candidates who satisfy the admission criteria is based on the following points:

1. Quality of the results obtained in the last three years of university study (30 pts);
2. Adequacy of knowledge planned to be acquired in the Master’s subjects (15 pts);
3. Evaluations, made by at least one senior researcher who has known the student, regarding his/her suitability to enroll in a Atlantis CRISPMaster's programme (15 pts);
4. Student's motivations and personal project (20 pts).
5. Oral expression ability and communication skills (20 pts)
